Hello And Welcome!

As a child I was obsessed with three things: Adventures, Horses & Art.

If there was a blank space, I'd draw on it. If there was a dress up box, I'd be off in a far away kingdom riding my big chestnut horse!

I have always been creative, whether with pencils or paints or creative writing (*peeks at those two unedited novels in the backlogs of my hard drive!*) but I always got repeatedly frustrated that I could not complete my piece of art to my level of perfection, that was, until I stumbled across photography in my early thirties.

Photography opened a whole new world of creativity for me. To be able to capture emotions and tell a story, means to much to the very ingrained essence of who I am as a person, that I was finally able to complete works of art to a level of satisfaction that I could be proud of.

And so my Little Red Fox inspiration came about when I wanted to be able to capture the stories and adventures of people through photographs and the ongoing challenge of producing art through Photoshop.

Those that have influenced me on my journey through photography are three fantastic artists:

Purple Raspberry Fine Art ( www.purpleraspberry.uk ) - She tells stories in such a wonderful way and her work is just STUNNING. She is someone I really aspire to follow artistically.

Mel Alexander from Silver Photographyhttps://www.facebook.com/Silver.Photography3/ ) - My constant supporter and mentor who really encouraged me to find myself and find my own style of expressing my art through Photography. I am thankful for her influence, wisdom and support every time I pick up a camera.

John William Waterhousehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_William_Waterhouse ) - Quite possibly my biggest artistic influence would be the works of this very talented artist. His work inspires most of my Fine Art, and how could it not? My favourite pieces of his being 'Magic Circle 1886 ', 'The Lady of Shalott 1888' & 'The Mermaid 1901'.

So now I live on a little farm in the middle of the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia. I work a normal day job from 8:30am to 5pm every weekday and get to enjoy my passion for art on the weekends, that is, when I'm not off travelling the world on my own little adventures. If there was one piece of advice I would give any blossoming artist, it would be, to just do it. Life is too short, too beautiful, to let the world spin by without someone witnessing it. Show the world your art, show them your passion and let them experience the world the way you see it.
